INTERNATIONAL CONVENTIONS

WISE BBYO meets consistenly at Temple Beth Rishon in Wyckoff.

Regional conventions are optional and are open to all members of Northern and Central AZA and BBG chapters.

International conventions happen once per year in various cities across the United States.

Chapter Meetings

WISE BBYO chapter meetings are a great way to get to know Jewish teens from your community. At chapter meetings, the board members give updates about regional events and other fun activities outside of the chapter. After the announcements everyone can get involved in a fun and collaborative group activity! We even go bowling and play minigolf as a chapter, as well as our famous end-of-year Tomato Baseball game!

Regional Conventions

Regional Conventions take place throughout the year and are usually on Saturdays or Sundays. At regional conventions, members can meet people from all over New Jersey and form lifetime friendships with people whom they would not have had the chance to meet if not for BBYO. In addition to conventions, specially-themed dances are common, and usually include a DJ, food, and more fun! The profits from dances are often donated to people in need, so members can have fun while doing a good deed!

International Conventions

At the yearly BBYO International Convention, thousands of Jewish teens have the opportunity to travel to a major U.S. city for one of the largest Jewish communal events of the year. They’ll hear from and meet inspiring speakers, deepen leadership skills, serve the local community, celebrate Shabbat and learn together, have access to exclusive music performances and do their part to further a strong Jewish future.
